It did. It was just enough. The tough part was that I had to disconnect and reconnect the boat and switch receivers halfway into jacking it into the single side of a three car from the two car side. Huge PITA. I don't miss that garage at all.
You can take this to the bank as this was critical for my boat purchase!
2016 Z1, tower held down at its lowest possible point
Boatmate trailer with 14" rims, boat centered on trailer
Fulton Jack: happy even point (not too high or too low as this affects the
windshield height or tower height) NOTE: "Slope" of driveway will impact
how high you will need to adjust the Fulton jack.
Alpha Z tower, collapsed with Bimini off, tallest point is tower running
lights and tower stop: 84"
I trimmed 1/2 inch off the header where the weather stripping still seals the door.
So, it is a close fit.
I forgot to mention I do Not use the factory board racks.
I use Samson racks and they stow inside the boat.
Factory racks may have to stow outside the boat. I am not sure if factory racks affect the tower height.
YES, make sure the width of your door is not an issue for those single stall garages.
haha I just replied to your PM but if this comes to fruition I might have to arrange a case of beer and a meet up with your boat at my house to see if it's feasible in my garage....(I also live in Dayton)...The dealer I go to doesn't have any boats on the floor yet (and I'm not sure he will until next year) so I can't have him tow one up to try....
Have JEAN (on this forum from TIGE') take a measurement with a picture of an R21 being shipped out from the MFG before it gets wrapped (with the tower folded).
She will help you out.
