Ronix Parks Carbon Thruster vs Marsh Mellow Thrasher??

So I was looking at picking up a Carbon Thruster but the shop close to me doesn't have it in stock. I know I can get it online but this particular shop has a "like it or swap it" policy that would allow me to take whatever board I want out and if I don't like it, I can trade it for another at equal value so I'm not stuck with a board I don't like....

Anyway, Ronix claims the Marsh Mellow has similar characterstics to the Carbon Thruster...anybody have any feedback on the Marsh Mellow? Any other suggestions for the ~$400 price point?

I'm coming from a LF Fish....I'm 6'2" and 210pds ....I'm looking at a surfer for now....

Spend another $200 and get a Doomswell and never look back! We have a ronix Carbon thruster and hate the thing. Also tried a marshmallow and never cared for it. Again just my opinion but if a dealer is close check out the Doomswell line. I know many on here like the carbon thruster but we didn't compared to the Doomswell board line. If u need a dealer I can send you info for mine. He will gladly hook you up with a Doomswell!

I rode theGerman618's Carbon Thruster at last years Mead Reunion, and loved it so much I asked my better half to purchase it for me for Christmas. I'm 5'10, 220 for what it's worth. I don't have a lot of experience on other boards to compare it to, but we sure like it.

X2^^^ I just picked up a Doomswell Nubstep and the board is ridiculous. Night and Day difference over the Ronix and Byerly boards i have had previously!

My son brought our Carbon Thruster on a trip with his friends and they enjoyed riding it. I think it was just better than the other boards they had. His friends wanted to get one like the Ronix and were sold on a Doomswell Neo. We'll see how it compares for them. My son will be going with them to Lake Powell next month and have a great week long comparison.

I'm sure Doomswell makes a great board and is worth checking out, if possible. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
