    Help... 2011 RZ2 Won't Start

    Hi All,

Put my RZ2 in the water 2 days ago, started no problem after storage for the winter. Went to start again yesterday and nothing. New cranking and and deep cycle batteries. Turn the key and get the two loud beeps and then a series of short beeps. No cranking. See video...

Checked throttle in neutral, safety switch also.
    Solutions please!!!!

Looks like your screen flashes a battery voltage warning there at the end of the vid.. Did you install the bats or have somebody else do it?

The Battery Voltage warning regularly occurs when the engine is not running and the screen power override switch is on though

Ok gotcha.. I just noticed that in the vid so it made me wonder if maybe whoever installed your bats missed a cable or something.

Check the cables to the batteries, I would bet that your missing the ground wire to one of the batteries.

I bet a ground fell back behind the battery

Rettighted all battery cables and checked fuses under dash and on engine. This is what I get now. Was thinking I could had crank the engine over to help with possible starter issue. Need to confirm rotation direction though. Thoughts?

That sound like the starter hitting the fly wheel and nothing more.

sounds like starter is bad do a voltage drop on the positive and on the signal wire also do not forget to do a voltage drop on the ground side " or tap starter with hammer and see if it works "
