    need opinion on ballast

hey guys need opinion on this new bag from wakemakers
    https://www.wakemakers.com/wakemaker...llast-bag.html
I didnt link the exact bag but one I was looking at is 30*25*25= 765lbs,
Just not sure on the benefit of custom bag over this one for the price. I have mikes custom on the port side, just installed the transfer pump, now need a sac. and some hose etc. another vent, switch is wired in, mike sent me the transfer switch plate, just made a suc gate too, so really wanna try more off side weight with gate and see what happens.
    thanks,
Mike pls chime in too!!!! thanks

The rectangle locker is going to only net no more than 900# for about $200, where as our custom is going to hold roughly 1200#. A comparable Fly high sac is going to run you about $160

Dukes has the cooler behind the driver in his 2010 so he doesn't get the leg under the seats to utilize the full custom sac that you have.

Mike do you recommend full custom sac or what do you have or know of that would be best since I have the cooler there
I guess my question is, next to the custom what is the next best thing, which bag model or number
        thanks
I guess when I think about it I do get under the rear bench but how much weight is that adding, as my arse is already on that side of the boat, or whoever is driving.

Yeah with the cooler, you lose about 100ish on the STBD side, but there is always a driver in the captains chair. A custom is going to maximize the available space, where as a more standard sac is going to be the more economical. May not hold as much and may not fit the best, but a standard part number is always going to be cheaper than the full on custom. It may come down to how often you have a surfer on that STBD side. If its regularly and they are more than a beginner, then the custom should be considered. The Fly High W719 Jumbo Surf is the best off the shelf standard sac.

I was worried that, that one is too big, too long for the locker height and width ok, just the locker itself is only about 30" unless I would take the little triangle divider wall out at the front of the locker. Your thoughts. I guess too, how much is your sac for that side. thanks

Thats where the debate between a custom and standard sac come in to play. You get a better fit and max weight but at a cost, with a custom. With the standard sac, you choose between good fit and a little less weight or not so good fit with a larger standard sac but a little more weight. The STBD and port customs are identical, just mirror images. This allows that want to cut out the cooler, to net the full capacity.

The W004 59" Tige sac is a Fly High made sac designed by Tige for Fly High. Its smaller overall than my custom sac. The W004 will fit better than the W719, but will likely not hold any more and will cost more.
