That would be awesome but no joy on any of our CU's being even close to that...

On a different note, anybody notice a major space difference between the R20 vs R21? Performance characteristics, etc?

When we purchased our Z1 (2013) we looked at the R20/RZR. My wife walked into both boats, jumped out of the R20 and stated that if we get a boat it would not be it. Her comment was based upon space alone, nothing relating to fit/finish or performance. The walkway on the R20/RZR is noticeably narrower and so is the cabin space. We are not big people (I'm 5'11 @ 200 and she is 5'3 @ 120). The R21 is 8" wider (94" Vs 102") and 1.5' longer. The R21 is classified at a 21' boat but is actually 21.5'.

You would need to evaluate your crew size and really get in both of them to see how it would fit for you.

I don't know about you Dandy - but I would have considered that comment the ultimate window of opportunity...

Ohhhh, we bought the Z1. It's always a "non yes" that gets me our boats. Managed to pick up my Whaler last year under the condition that I sold my 12' sail boat first. Whaler 1st sailboat sold later. She was in full agreement to trade the Z1 on a G23, sold the G23 and purchased a new home and I was told we have to wait until 2017 to get another tow boat. I managed to find a good deal on a 2007 22Ve so that we won't have payments and she gave me the "just make a decision and do something...I will go along with it"...so I signed the paperwork and the 22Ve shoudl be here next week, so we will be back surfing and I still get to keep the Whaler. No complaints from me about my "better half".
