    2014 Z3 w/ VX surf Help

I have a 2014 Z3 with vx and pro ballast and i just haven't been able to get that great surf wave. I know part of the problem is i haven't had the time to just play around with different variables. We almost always surf regular side with ballast at port 100%, and both front at 75%. We usually have plenty of bodies in the boat for extra weight and shift as much as we can to the rear port side. Speed around 11 and taps 3-4. Is the pro ballast enough? Any other suggestions? the wave is fairly clean but not great height or length.

fill front up to 100%. Fill up starboard side as much as possible until the wave is still clean (5-6 degrees).

Get a custom regular side bag (chpthrl has them) It will increase your wave size bigtime!

Put some lead in the observer seat compartment.

Depending where your weight is you may try taps at 2-5.

Have you adjusted the vx platform?

Talk to @carfanatic. He has a great wave with a similar setup, but did upgrade rear bags

i have not adjusted the vx. Should I? The lake we are on is very calm with very few water patrol so we usually have an extra 200-300 lbs of body weight sitting on the back surf corner.

Check this video out by wake 9. This gives you the stock weighting with pro ballast they originally used before they went with big bags in the back.
