Selling my RZ for ASR

Hi everyone!!

since day 1 of ASR i like them a lot. I'm on the market for one right now. I actually own a 10' RZ2. Surf wave is more than good.
About the ASR, some say wave is good, some say its terrible. Anyone here have one? Im scared about changing for a smaller wave, i do 200+ hours each year and mostly all wakesurfing hours.

RZX is your boat then, Not ASR. ASR will put out a surf wave but it was designed with wakeboard wave in mind first.

For surfing, id look at the RZX.

Reason why i'd change is because i got a good deal on an ASR. If i dont do it i will just keep mine.

Might be a reason someone is dumping an ASR.....probably tried to surf and found disappointment. Found an ASR somewhat local to me and it had been retrofitted with a custom surf gate design which tells me that if someone is gonna go drill holes in the 90k dollar boat just to make a wave something may be off there. Just my 2 cents

Another vote for the RZX for surfing. They took the ASR hull and dialed it in for surfing. The ASR is the wakeboarding boat and is less sensitive to weight shift. If you are doing 200+ hours a year surfing, I don't think you are going to be happy with the ASR.

dont get a asr!!! Our lake neighbors sold there rz2 for a asr and where very disappointed. The surf wave sucked and many problems with the boat. Tige corporate came through huge though and provided them with a RZX as a replacement and they could not be happier. I have been behind all 3 boats quite a bit and will say the RZX is not even comparable to the ASR for surfing especially with the taps3 system on the RZX. If you want to surf do not buy a ASR we struggled with that boat.
