Ive put 150 hrs on my '15 and have NO issues. We always have a crew of 8-10 and i do have some strict rules. No spray sunscreen, no shoes, no bathing suits with any decorative bs, and clean feet. I have been using the boat bling cleaner and conditioner, and the interior looks as good as the day we got it.-Brandon Lucas

^^^Although I have an old, old boat, I have those rules too. I also add no orange drinks, no orange chips, no printed material (magazines, newspapers, books). No Ban de Sole #4. I use baby wipes to clean. As a result, most of my interior is factory original and soft as a baby's butt. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

same rules here too but had to add one this year. No temporary tattoos. My daughter had one on her ankle that I didn't know about until late in the day when I noticed little yellow smiling suns on scattered on the white vinyl. I tried everything even some concentrated Malco and didn't phase it but the sun did its magic and gone by end of summer.

Me too, to me its unacceptable. Maybe 25 hours and I have some fraying on the back hatch, the bow and the cooler cushion. I have no fear that they will fix it just alarming this early on... Maybe 2 trips on itGermaine Marine

I apply all those same rules to the point of arguing with the wife about not allowing any food on the boat.... Sunscreen is applied on shore or back swim platform
with the wind blowing away from the boat etc etc etc. I boat bling cleaner every trip and boat bling conditioner every other.. 26 hours on mine so far and only a couple small "frays" in the textured portion of a couple areas. I'm not too concerned about it as I don't think it will negatively affect the longevity of the vinyl. I may have the dealer look at them when it goes in for some small punch card type items.

Our boat is a 2012 with over 400 hundred hrs in the Florida sun and we have no "frays". I would be aggravated as hell to have that happening on a new boat. I have similar rules but not quite as strict - No red or orange food or drink, no glass, no shoes and sunscreen always applied on swim platform. I use 3m vinyl cleaner/conditioner in one after every outing.

A good friend of mine has a 14' Malibu 23LSV. His seat bottoms are already starting to pull apart just like your picture. Cover always on, stored on a boat lift with a canopy. I can't say I'm impressed with Malibu, especially with the 120k price tag on that boat. I can not speak for the new Tige interiors as I have an old dog of a '99. Just my observation of a different brand.

Oh yeah I am, trust me. I shouldnt see a single fray or even a stitch out of place.. its 2016. That being said my dealer is stellar and the factory is completely concerned with my frustration and is totally on board with making sure I am happy first and foremost which is all I care about. Just was wondering how much if it is happening around the country...........Germaine Marine
