    Alberta Lake Levels - Resource

This is just a link for fellow Alberta lake goers. We don't have many natural lakes to speak of so most our our lakes are irrigation reservoirs. Without physically driving out to the lake I tried to find something from the government that shows current lake levels. Here is a link that points to a pdf document updated daily that shows a percentage of the lakes capacity that is full. For those who are interested:

I use the alberta environment website. It displays the info in a graph so its easy to see what levels are doing. You can see what im talking about here:

If you want more data and historical levels you can go on the canadian evironment website like this:

I wish that my lake in Sask is down like everyone else, its at the highest levels ever......It looks as though we will have to raise our cabin by 3-4 feet due to the water levels. Every other lake around ours is probably 2-4 feet lower then last year but with our lake having no river in or out and spring fed, the only thing that'll save us is hot hot weather with no rain. Jeannette Lake in Northern Sask and with farmers as neighbours we are in a bit of a lose lose situation for asking for no rain.
