Im wanting to replace the 3 pairs of 6.5in speakers in my boat with a newer set. Has anyone tried these kicker KM604W out? I can get 3 pairs on ebay for $229 shipped brand new. Crutchfield has them for $99 a pair just don't want to buy something I wont be happy with.

That ebay price sounds like someone is selling the OEM bulk version. They are packed as singles and sold in a case of like 12 or something. How does the ebay seller feel about how they compare to the other Kicker KM speakers as well as other brand like the Polk or Rockford? The KM604 is a good price point marine speaker, but I would honestly suggest stepping up to the KM654. The larger tweeter offers a few advantages IMO.
