    Blue Water Reunion

I just read about this. This might put a bit of a kink in the plans for the Blue Water Reunion.

8/11/2006: The Colorado River Indian Tribe has placed a quarantine on the Colorado River in the area of the Blue Water resort and points south of there.

There has been an increasing number of people developing Shigella (a lower intestinal tract disorder) and reporting to Doctors and Hospitals in the area. The common denominator in all these cases is swimming or being in and/or around the Colorado River in those areas.

Signs have been placed near points of water access in the effected areas. CRIT Environmental Office is conducting water testing to determine if the water in these areas is the cause of the reported disorders.

No cases reported (as of yet) from areas up River of the Blue Water area.

    Swim at your own risk.

        it was AWESOME

        Hello all,

Well i just got back from the Tige Watersports customer appreciation weekend. It was incredible!!!! I honestly cant count how many Tige's were there, but the people estimate was about 1000! The group photo was insane.....bumper to bumper Tiges......maybe 300 or so? (see pic).

What an event. For a dealer to shut down his business for 3 days to set up and host a gathering like this is unbelievable. If any of you ever get a chance to go....well you need to do it! Oh, did i mention that they gave away a new boat at the end of the party (along with many, many, many other items ((it took over and hour to raffle everything off)))???

As far as the river was concerned it looked clean and inviting to me. The hot arizona sun and the colorado river make a good combination. Throw in a couple hundred Tiges and it is a PARTY not to be MISSED!
