Interested in an evolution covers group buy?

I was part of an earlier rankin cover group buy, but do to some unfortunate events, I'm in need of a new cover.

From what I can tell on the forum circuit, evolution would be a similar quality product. I've reached out to them to find out their terms for a group buy, but wanted to see if there's enough interest to pull something together.

Let me know and I'll post an update once I have specifics on a deal.

An rz2 cover was $885 plus shipping, it would obviously be a bit cheaper thru the group buy tho.

Are they superior to the stock Tige covers? If so, why?

I think there's been a few different dealers for the Tige tops over the years from what I can tell on here.

Sorry team, sadly I can't get an evolution cover as they don't have the template for my model. They recommended pro-covers, who has a template, but they unfortunately don't do group buys.

I currently have a Rankin cover as I bought my boat used and it didn't come with anything. My boat is in the water from May-Oct, so a lot of off and ons. It's been great having clips as I find it much faster to put on vs snaps, and no issues with sore thumbs. That said, the string that wraps the rub rail to prevent sagging came out and was "lost" (I suspect mom threw it out unknowingly). Without it, the sagging is causing stretching and leaks.

Since the Cdn dollar is so bad, importing a new one is going to be pricey - normal price for a custom top in Sunbrella fabric (which is totally worth the cost if your boat is outside a lot) has been in the 8-900 US range for my boat (22'). Will see if there is any way it can be modified by one of the local shops here in Canada and perhaps get a new line for the bottom and sew some darts to compensate for the stretching last season.

If that doesn't work, then I'll be placing an order. At least by then it'll hopefully be out of the early season rush.
