The tide has turned, I agree more modern graphics would be preferred. Will update on changes and end point of this refresh for the boat. It is hard to balance the value of the boat to the cost of upgrades/updates you put in. At this point, I just want to be back on the water!! Thanks for all the input and new pics to follow shortly.

I would not wrap. I like Talltigeguy prefer a nice clean well taken care of white boat or what ever color the native gel is and then if you add go with something current. Wraps look nice at first but have issues down the line.

          Gross on decal.

Just go get that nice chrome "TIGE" lettering and place on the rear like the Ve. my buddy did this on his 05 and it looks a million times better!

Well for better or worse I did it and got the wrap but look what happened next.
            From this:

            oldboatt - 1.jpg

            to this:

            newboat - 2.jpgnewboat - 3.jpgnewboatent - 6.jpg

Then after the first trip on the water at Lake Tahoe I ended up with this:

            posttahoe - 1.jpgposttahoe - 2.jpg

Wish I never would have done it. Taking it back to them tomorrow. Placed it on the water and the next day drove across Lake Tahoe about 20 miles each way and that was the surprise I had when I docked back at rental. Should a wrap be that sensitive to damage? Live and learn.

Almost 100% sure that should not happen if the boat was prepped correctly and the edges were sealed.

Just dropped it off and they stated must have been "product failure". They cleared the next few days to re wrap the boat. This time going to use all 3M products. Told me this is the first boat they have had this happen. At this point no choice but to let them try again.

Make sure it's laminated. Only time I've seen 3m shred like paper.

I've had this wrap on my boat for 5 years. Zero issues. 3m vinyl with 3m gloss over laminate.

(Kids have grown and want a new wrap now)

i can not believe that is 5 years old. What did you do to keep it that nice? Any specific products or care recomendations? Noticed you tinted the windows, any regrets on that change?

Oldwakedoc- what kind of tower is that? It looks like it fits in the original mounting holes?

Indy Tower, very flexible mounting and yes into the original holes so installation was easy. One day I would like to move the mount point for the back arms back a little to allow me to mount the cross support to follow the curve of the window.

Looks good man. I have been wanting to upgrade mine but I don't like any of the side mount towers. I actually think the way you have the sidebars is what caught my eye.
