Could someone help me with a method to test the AVX on our 2015 Z1? Wanting to move it through its positions out of water to verify it is working completely.

AVX/TT2 needs to see rpm (dont remember exact #)around 2000-2500rpm and GPS speed indicated to operate the AVX for safety reasons. RPM to show TT2 that the boat is moving under powere and not drifting down a river. GPS to show TT2 the boat is moving and not on a hose. All that is for safty so no one gets a foot crushed.
You will need the dealer maintenence code and then you can operate the AVX in demo mode out of the water.
Call your deler, they may hook you up with the dealer #. The code will also allowallow you to activate switches on the TT2 like under water lights and peaker lights.

Thanks Kodiak. That helps me understand some of what I am seeing I think. Will the TT only take a set point also if you are moving? Say you are at AVX 4 and stop. Can you enter 0 at stop and as soon as you are moving it will go to 0, or do you have to be moving before entering the change? We thought we had it at 0 when we took the boat out but it is definitely not all of the way up and we are trying to understand if we did something wrong or if there is a problem.

It depends on on what software is down loaded in your TT2.
Lasst summer 2015 I had diffret software in my TT2 then I do now. Last year If I set my AVX to a number it would slew to that position when the boat was under way and stay in that position when I stopped. This year with the newest software in my TT2 when I slow to a stop the AVX automatically slews to "0". It also slews to "0" when I get up on plain. My gues would be it slews up around 15 mph. When im at surf speed it will automatically slew back to its last set position
Ps. Sorry for the crappy typing im on vacation and only have my phone to reply with.Last edited by kodiak ak; 05-10-2016, 01:54 PM.

Last year my avx only moved when underway at surf speeds and it would remain in the position it was last set to.
I had big issue with my taps plate, for no reason when going fast it would go to#1 and bury the nose at speed, I could over ride with the switch but it had a mind of its own? I only want it at the 1 setting for getting on plane or very slow speeds.
My TT2 has been updated now and hope a few things related are now corrected
I hope to get it in the water to test this week.
