My RZ2 is VERY sensitive to side-to-side weight shifts. This can be a good and bad thing. If I'm going under 19-20, I can usually get a clean wake on one side by asking passengers to move to that side. Beginners and intermediates are usually more comfortable going out to one side, so I ask people to move over there to clean up that side of the wake. Then, when it looks like are wanting to go out the other side, I'll ask the passengers to switch sides. Not the simplest method, but it works. Also makes the passengers more invested in the run.
By the time I get it up to 21 or a little over, I can usually clean it up on both sides by adjusting the TAPS. Generally, I use lower TAPS (1-2) for lower speeds and higher TAPS (4-5) for higher speeds. I do think more weight makes it harder to clean it at lower speeds. I have heard that front weight helps, but I haven't seen a drastic difference.
