Does anyone know what this pipe is for?

I have a Mercruiser Black Scorpion 6.2L that has this pipe that goes down under the motor, i cannot find any mention of it in the owner's manual, Does anyone know what it is for?

Yes! That is your fresh water flush hose adapter.
You can make sure by following it down to what it ties into, probably just behind the fresh water pump.
