Acme 1433 prop clearance to trailer

I just put on my upgraded Acme 1433 prop on my 2014 Z1 and clearance to the trailer seems to be a bit tight. I went from an Acme 537 to the 1433. The boat launches in my area are also pretty swallow. What kind of clearance do other people have who are running the 1433?

I would suggest taking the boat off the trailer and shimming the bunks up in the back to gain a little more clearance...

It is indeed a Boatmate trailer, the trailer was manufactured in 2013.

Talk with your boatmate dealer for a fix.

I put the stock 537 back on to check the clearance of it, appears to be just a touch over 1/2". What years did Boatmate have issues with their trailers?

When Tige moved from the original Z1 to the 2nd gen Z1.

BoatMate had a specific on the Z1 Trailers built in 2013. There was a shim kit available. I believe that there were 2, 1/2"Spacers for between the bunks and each bunk support.

Yup. 2013 only. It took out my stock prop even. That 1433 has no hope without shims.

You will most likely not find more information relating this issue than on the link below:
                    http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...+boatmate+shim

It took a few minutes to find this, but there were several contributors to this thread and looking back on it, it should give you alot of information to work with.

                    Good Luck
