Thanks for the reply's guys. I am looking forward to the warmer weather. I have spent lots of time in the Houston area previously just never with my tige !

@blackoutATX - It will be a substantial change but I am ready for no snow !! My wife is from Houston so the change will be small for her. Looks like we have a September 1 move date.

Here's my boat. Will have lots of room for folks as its just my wife and I and our 5 month old son.

I was in Houston for 10 years, great boating areas. Also check out Bethy creek campground and boat on trinity river there, best place ever when water is good. Houston waterways are becoming very busy. Also look gcwa on Facebook, great bunch of people, some smart a$$'s though. They can be very helpful as well. Gcwa= gulf coast wake boarding association -local club turned into almost 1000 members, I've been a member there since 2004 and still am a member.

I lived in clear lake for 3 years. Clear creek is brackish (partly salt) and can be a tight area. But not bad for a quick set. Clear lake is shallow only 3-5' unless you are in channel. My dad has a house on clear creek and I've been boating there since 2006. We wakeboard in the rivers and lakes up north and take his center console or baja in that area.
