Im not a fan of the optima, especially for a house battery. Very low AH rating per $$$ and lower than a comparable wet cell lead acid.
Just to be fair, this is not a Tige issue, but a boat builder biz issue.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Im an interstate dealer, so I use a lot of those and with good results. If you did deep, you will find that most all batteries are made by only a few actual manufacturers. I think the Napa brand is made by East Penn, who makes Deka. Good battery there.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I replaced my house battery with 2 6v batteries from Costco (interstate). Picked up a promariner to keep it all charged up and recently picked up a flo-rite pro kit. Haven't had any problems with this setup. The flo-rite kit is amazing by the way. So much better then filling by hand.BABz - babzusa.com
