San Francisco Bay Area Upholstery recommendations?

Need to finally re-skin the interior to my 2001 V21 rider, looking for recommendations for a good upholstery place in the bay area. This season is the upholstery and stereo upgrade. I can't wait for the new look and sound.
    Thanks in advance. .

I'm no help in your area, but I did talk to a shop the other day local to me. They are doing a few repairs to my cover. I asked about redoing the whole interior of my 21v. I asked for basic material and minimal stitching. I about fell over when I was quoted $6000. I had no idea going into it so that may be a fair price. Is this what you're expecting to pay?

Pure Audio in Faifield is your one stop shop. Give Dennis a call @ 7078035155. He does audio but has an upholsterer and a detailer in his shop. His prior shop was Liquid Trends Northbay. His work is top notch and he is a great guy to do business with.

Wow, that price is a little north of what I was hoping for. Upgraded audio might have to wait. Will post update as this progresses. Thanks for the recommendation. Will post pre and post pictures.

That seems pretty darn steep to me..from the few forums I frequent I've seen $2-4k thrown around for a good (not THE best) interior re-do..

Anyone else confirm that range or were the threads I read possibly dated?

That's good news. This is the busy time so I guess they could get higher prices now. And I think this shop is the best or one of in the area. I just can't justify a $6k price on a boat worth $20. I'd drop $1500-2000 no sweat on a good job.

Had a friend looking at a 99 21i and it was toasted.. All new skins, some foam replacement, and new carpet throughout - Dealership had a local shop look at it and they ball parked it at 5,500 in Springfield, Missouri... Different side of the country, but there's another price...

I just had (4/1/2016) the back 3 seat bottoms on my 2001 21v redone at Paco's Custom Upholstery near Sacramento, CA - $400 total - I'm sure some math can be done to figure out a complete re-upholster. http://www.pacoupholstery.com/ Recommend - YES. Absolute perfect match to factory color, stitching, and finishing. Just need to make them aware that the "tab" on the bottom of the center seat recesses into a hole, and doesn't affect foam height. :-)

I have checked two places here in Concord, CA and the estimates were $5K and $4K. The more expensive bid was more detailed in evaluating condition of foam and options. The lower one stood over the boat looking at it from two sides and stated "about 4K". Still looking but now realizing this is going to be more than I thought.

Give Armond's Upholstery in Walnut Creek a try. I've used them on several projects and they do quality work.

I had Boatmasters in Livermore redo the rear hatch (center and two sides). Decent work for $600. Good color match.
