Alpha Tower - Rack hits speaker when swivel in

I have an Alpha tower w/ 4 rev10's. Board racks swivel in. My port side rack hits the speaker before it hits the stopper. Starboard side if fine. Hits the stopper 1/4" before hitting the speaker. Looks like everything is a mirror on the tower as for install. forks are the same way. don't know if I have to flip the forks or do something else. I have not dismantled yet.

Can anybody else confirm this issue with your setup? Does your rack hit the speaker?

Dealer solution - they sell a custom stopper for $175 in 4-6 weeks. WTF. Tige setup and I bought the boat last week.

PITA when folding the tower. Can not turn in while towing. might hit the side of my garage or a gas station canopy.

    2012 RZ2 - new to me 4/2016.

Are those Tige racks or Samson? Also, In not Sure Rev-10 was a factory option yet in on a 2012 model. Its certainly something we've seen on other brands when outfitted with aftermarket speakers.

Those look like Tige racks. Try flipping the forks and/or put on the opposite side. They are longer one way than the other.

Tige racks - this boat was a 12 that was fully upgraded to a 13. I also have the convex VX

SOLVED!!! I had to flip the fork. Still had to stack up 4 rubber washers and a longer screw on the stopper to prevent the rack from hitting the speaker.

New tige owner - Glad to see quick responses on this forum. I will contribute when possible, but I am still going through everything. Thanks!!!

Still strange you had to modify... Is it possible the brackets on the tower were put on the wrong sides of the tower??

I am speculating...... a fork was damaged and a replacement part was sent to the previous owner. They ordered the wrong replacement fork and installed backwards. So now I have WB on top on one side and WB fork on bottom on the other side. At least it doesn't hit the speaker.

I guess it is suppose to be that way. WB top one side and WB bottom the other. looked at a few pictures posted.
