Yea I have been playing with mine also.... I think it's the location it is mounted. I think I may need to build a better box

The WS sub is a free air sub. The location they have it in is somewhat of an enclosure and does not have enough air for it. If you search JohnnieMo has a write up about some winter upgrades about a year ago that included opening up the space behind it and I believe he found out the amp was not bridged to provide the max output for that sub.
