Hey All,
Thought I'd give it a few weeks and a few trips to the lake before I posted. I've been lurking since before I made the purchase but I feel like I can officially participate finally!
This is my first boat, it's a 2003 21i with ~400 hours on it. Was always garaged and well cared for. Interior is in excellent shape and it drives well.
I haven't had any major problems with it (other than the fact that when I'm going from hard reverse quickly to neutral I have managed to kill it twice). Having never owned a boat before I've really enjoyed my few early season trips so far (it was 83* and sunny today!). I'm looking forward to getting to know some of the members here and hope to find all the information I'd ever need.
After all my research it seems like this was a great boat and still makes for a decent all around kind of boat. We don't really know what we like to do yet but want to give wakeboarding, wakesurfing and some general tube pulling a try.
Now, I'm off to the mechanical forum to see if I can spot an exploded diagram of the engine and anything I ought to go ahead and change out/do right away, regardless of the previous maintenance history. Any recommendations on that kind of stuff just let me know, it would be greatly appreciated!
Lastly, what would a new post be without a few pictures? From the day we bought it.
