Where to look for engine alarm

I'm not the original owner of my 2001 21v (Black Scorpion 350) and it dawned on me that I've never heard any sign of an engine alarm. I've even had overheating problems - no alarm. Shouldn't there be an alarm? Any idea where I can look to confirm its existence? I haven't seen anything that looks like an alarm, but I'm a novice.

Any help appreciated.

They are USUALLY under the dash and looks like a little tweeter speaker.

Thanks, Thegerman. I was at my boat (1.5 hours away) this weekend and only saw the safety horn and what looked like a small round alarm/speaker attached to the depth finder. Will keep looking.
