I still haven't installed a mount for my iPhone in my boat at the helm and was wondering where everyone else has put there's? In front of the steering wheel, off to the right side off the window? I've thought about mounting mine off the side window so it was located above/beside my wired remote which right in front of the arm rest and throttle. Which mount are you using?

dave check gps city ram mounts, they are the best mounts and you can configure them so many ways, the nice thing is if you get a mount and no longer need it for your phone or whatever you can use some of the parts to make a different mount. Just check them out, you'll see. Gps city is where I got my stuff from, great service and good price.

If the suction base is a concern or just too big, you could do as I did. Same basic principle with the RAM arm, but I used a flat base and fixed it to the side windshield just above the armrest with 3m VHB tape. It is very solid and unobtrusive. To hold the phone, I adapted a simple quad lock mount to the other end of the RAM arm. Look them up, they work very well.2013 RZ2 with Convex VX, MLA Custom Sacs
