    Chart Plotting?

Helping a buddy build a 2016 and I see that the chart plotting option is $370 MSRP. My last boat had gps plotting but my 2013 RZR does not have this. It came in handy to mark way points of shallow spots for surfing and I would be willing to pay $370 if I could add this to my 2013 with Tige touch 1. I have a paddle wheel for speed control so perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree.

    Questions:

    1) Anyone have this on a 2013? Are the maps detailed? Can you mark waypoints? I assume a gps module is needed.

    2) Anyone add this after the fact? Cost?

I could be wrong but I thought the chart plotting option just gave you the detailed maps. I purchased a Navionics Hotmap card and inserted in the back of the TT2 system. The card was about $150 on Amazon. When I tried my brothers in laws hot maps card, that he uses in his fishing boat, it gave me the depth and all the areas that I boated.

OK thanks. Anyone add a chip to a TT1? I want to be able to mark waypoints.

This seems like an awesome upgrade. Anyone know what features from different cards work on the TT2?

Yes, I believe so. There was a thread on here where another member used a navionics chip and it worked great.

Same question on TT1 - where does the card exactly go? Assume it is a sd or micro sd, but have not noticed a slot.

Here's that other thread, it's for the tt2, not sure if the slot is in the back of the tt1 is like the tt2 but worth taking a look.
