Instead of continuing to deal with paddlewheel issues, you can upgrade to this:
    http://www.nauticlaugic.com/nl4.html

This give your Tige SpeedSet a GPS input instead of relying on the paddlewheel. It simply plugs into the harness from the paddlewheel and allows the water temp sensor to work, but bypasses the speed signal from the paddlewheel. This with IDBoatings pad should make for a dependable setup.

Yes, they are in stock and we've been shipping a LOT of them this Spring... folks are definitely pulling their Tiges out of storage in preparation for this season!

You can send both pages of the order form to orders [at] waketouch [dot] com, and use PayPal to send payment to paypal {at} waketouch {dot} com. (Sorry for the cryptics, just trying to avoid skimmers pulling the addresses off the forum.) Once we receive both pages of the order form and payment, we typically ship within one business day and email you the tracking number so you can keep an eye on things.

          Thanks for reaching out!

Freaking awesome. My boat has over 500 hours and started acting up last year. Anyone know if there there any threads in addition to the paddlewheel link above related to my depth/water temp gauge working about 10% of the time? Or issue with underwater light not working for past few years....Searching.....

If they work randomly, most likely a connection issue. I assume when the depth and water temp goes out that you still have a speed reading? If no, check voltage when it works and when it doesn't. If yes, then its a bad connection on can hi/lo which are the blue and white wires at the triducer.
              Oh Yeah!

As this thread mentions, we offer an upgraded Tige TouchPad. The order form is downloadable from http://waketouch.com/media/TigeOrderForm.pdf . We keep them in stock and generally ship within one business day.

My SpeedSet up and down buttons stopped working two week ago. Very frustrating to surf without it. The center button still worked and allow me to set the speed after I was underway, but my skill at setting the speed while moving leave much to be desired. After spending A LOT of time reading through the different strings on this forum, I order the replacement touchpad from waketouch.com. Richard was very responsive and sent me a set of instructions to follow. It took me about thirty minutes to install it. It would have been faster but the removal of the panel stumped me for a while.

I have a 2009 RZ2. To get to the back side of the panel on my boat I needed to remove the arm rest. It was held in place with five plastic push fasteners that are inside the arm rest. Just pry under the armrest with a screwdriver at each fastener and pry them up. There is a screw under the armrest that needs to be removed and another screw at the windshield. I had to push my throttle down to remove the panel.

The wiring harnesses to the speedset and radio controls were pretty tight so be careful not to pull it too hard. To remove the speedset assembly, I had to look through the windshield to unscrew the two 9/32 nuts and remove the fender washers holding it in place. Not hard, but a little awkward. Once the nuts and fender washers are removed, just pull your old speedset controller out the front and disconnect the wiring harness. Follow the instructions for assembling the replacement controlling and reinstall.

                      Hi All
Are there instructions to install Touch Pad Upgrade or a video?
                      Thx

Sorry, we haven't formalized it that much. It takes about five minutes. Pull the old touchpad, remove four Phillips screws on its back, swap out the old electronics with the new, put back the four Phillips screws, and reinstall.

Seriously, it takes longer and is more complicated to remove it from the dash than it is to replace the electronics. And when you're done everything looks factory, because everything that is visible IS factory.

We'll make a video at some point, just for fun, but trust me... this is the easiest upgrade ever.

So this upgrade replaces the speedset controls to right of the Tige Touch? I have developed an issue where on my Touch I've set the speed and it is "on" but never takes over. Does this fix that? 2011 RZ4

                          Thanks.

No, the upgraded touchpad will not fix a system problem like that. This is a replacement for the elliptical shaped, three button black rubber touchpad. The actual cruise control logic is either in the engine ECU or the helm electronics.

Can you be more specific about your problem? What exact sequence of events are you trying that doesn't work?

I can't get the speedset to take over throttle control. I've tried through activating a profile and manually from the speedset menu. I replaced my speedo last fall due to broken paddlewheel and that is reading accurately.

Do all three buttons on the elliptical touchpad work? In other words, when you're navigating the menu can you go up, down, and select options with the center button?

I'm trying to discern if (particularly) the center button is being detected in other operations besides setting the cruise speed. If it is, then your problem isn't in the touchpad. But if the center button NEVER works, then you might be able to fix things by replacing the touchpad.
