    Can somebody with photoshop help?

Debating on pulling the Monster wrap off our 22i and I know it's a plain yellow stripe underneath. Found a place selling the vector graphic kits in black.. Can somebody possibly take the included pic of my boat and turn the wrapped stripe back to yellow and place the black vector graphics from the included build studio pic onto it? I realized they may need to be scaled down to fit my size stripe.. Thank you to anybody that can do this..

Thanks guys! Anybody know much about application of vinyl? I'm told by the previous owner, who put the wrap on, that it's clean and new looking underneath, but I plan to get it buffed out anyways.. Can these be applied to fresh wax or would I want to put these straight onto the gelcoat then wax over them?

You want to stick the vinyl on before wax but after a good machine polish to clean things up.

Best way is a spray bottle of water with a few drops of washing up liquid.

Tape the vinyl backing in place at the top then spray the mixture onto the hull. Then using a squegee work your way to bottom working the bubbles out as you go. Take your time and then carefully peel the backing off being careful not to pull any vinyl up. Then leave it for a few days to dry fully.

If you do end up with major bubbles carefully Peirce them with a sharp blade.

Google "vinyl wet application" for more info.

You can then wax over the top.

That would look sweet with the windows tinted also, It's easy to remove the glass which makes it easier, cost me $220

Thanks for the tips Chris... I think we're gonna do this so I'll get some pics up when I get it done.. First job is gonna be taking the wrap off. I really hope it's not a hard job. I don't know if it's gonna leave a sticky residue the way some stickers do.. Never dealt with a wrap before... We shall see...

Cap - I talked to my local window tint shop and they weren't too excited to tint boat windows due to the compound curves.. Something about the tint not laying right.. I'm gonna need to take the boat by though because I don't see a compound curve. I think top to bottom all these windows are flat.

I experienced the same challenges getting both of our boat Windows tinted. A few places were either not interested in taking it on, or quoted me way above what I thought it would cost. I shopped and shopped until I found someone I trusted for a reasonable amount. Yelp was a great resource.

If you can get the old vinyl warm you should find it easier to remove. Shouldn't leave much residue but you will probably find the colour to be fairly different before polishing!

The warmer the day is the better. You may also want to use a heat gun. If you try and peel it with the temp being too cold the vinyl will be brittle and if it does peel it will leave the adhesive. Park the boat so one side is in the sun and leave it to warm up. Any residue can be cleaned up with a number of solvents. WD40, Methylhrydrate, Goo Gone etc.

I have found mineral spirits to be an excellent solvent for stickers applied to gelcoat. This includes those rotten state registration stickers that are designed to tear apart if someone tries to remove them. Apply with a cloth rag, wipe clean, then rinse well with fresh water. After years of doing this I've never seen any effect on the gelcoat itself, nice and shiny!
