For those asking. If all that have said they would be in were to order. That is over ten needed. The discount is $75.00. That is a little over 15%. Shipping to Aus. and Canada you will need to check with FAE and they can get you a shipping estimate.
A concern (maybe not) as I recently did Skeg/prop damage hitting a submerged log, how would the FAE handle a hit or what damage is likely to an FAE or mounts if it's mounted to underneath platform or to transom, anyone?

by time the submerged object gets to your FAE, your deductible has been more than reached. FAE typically doesnt stick below the keel far anyway.

Killerbren - I'm intrigued by this taps plate bolt mounted version... I can't find it anywhere on their site.. Did you find it on their page or call and somebody told you about it. I'd really like to see how this works. I'm assuming it does away with the uprights to the swim platform, which I think would make the install look a ton cleaner.
As far as I'm aware it is a fairly new option. He told me about it over our email conversations. He wanted me to take pictures after I installed it to send to him, so I'm assuming there isn't that many that are installed in this fashion. I'm more than happy to be the one to test it out.
How do we proceed on this? Do I need to call to FAE and tell them about this article?
I am in contact with FAE and working out the details of how to proceed. I will let everyone know. The main guy is out of the office until Monday. The other one I have corresponded with contacting him for that detail.
Ok guys and some of you gals. Here is the official word back on the group buy. This is the email returned back today to initiate our group buy. They have a backlog as you can imagine for this time of the season. They are opening the actual group buy April 1st. thru April 9th. However that raised the question about advance ordering to get in the production queue. Their reply is included here. Yes you can pre-order to get in the production line.
Use TIGE16 for the discount code. Below is their letter with instructions.
We appreciate the support and are excited to see a huge turnout from the Tige Owner’s forum. As we discussed previously, our shop is experiencing unprecedented demand, coupled with a few production delays, leaving us with a greater than normal turnaround time. We are working as hard as possible to get each system out as quickly as fast as we can. With that being said, I am thanking anyone participating in advance for their patience. I cannot officially open up the group buy until April 1st. We can run it from 4/1-4/9/16.*(see below) Anyone ordering online can use promo code “TIGE16”, or when ordering by phone, you must mention that you are with the Tige Owner’s group buy. When entered, this code will apply a $50 discount to the order. All online orders are processed manually, meaning that no charge will be made to your card until you have received an order confirmation. Once the group buy hits 10 or more, the discount will be updated for each participating order from $50 to $75 off.
I saw a few questions on designs, compatibility, etc. We have a Fresh Air Exhaust System for every Tige year and model out there. If there are custom components on a boat, the boat owner can notify us of this. We may have to verify measurements to ensure proper build/fit of the FAE but we can almost certainly accommodate. In many cases, we will not need to verify measurements for orders. However, if the boat owner is requesting a one-piece design (Y or T) or has made custom modification (Go Surf Assist, etc.), it may be necessary for us to verify measurements on the boat prior to building their FAE. If this is the case, we will send them a form showing all necessary measurements. Anyone interested can learn more about available options at http://www.freshairexhaust.com/about-us/fae-options/.
As someone has already pointed out, we are now offering a trim tab hinge mount for ALL Tiges with the single exhaust outlet. This option is not available online yet but will, by default, be assigned to those orders. Again, all orders will be followed up with an order confirmation so if someone has particular questions or needs to give details, there is a comments section they can provide this information to us. Anyone interested can order online at http://www.freshairexhaust.com/your-boat/. (Full disclosure: we have just recently moved over to a new website. Most information/boats are there, but if yours is missing, please contact us by email or phone). If anyone has questions on their boat/what options, please email us at mail@freshairexhaust.com or call 512.647.7321.
*Since there are a number of you ready to go, we are happy to get you into the queue prior to 4/1, with the understanding that Production is currently scheduled two weeks out, meaning that it may be that long before work begins on your order. Again, we will do everything in our power to get each system out as quickly as possible and hope to exceed expectations on time, but do not want to promise something we cannot guarantee at this moment. Anyone ordering online before 4/1 can write in the comments box “TIGE16”, or if calling to order, let us know they are part of the Tige group buy.
Get you order into FAE so you can get into the production schedule. They are a week or so out but gave us the ability to get into the production queue.
They do make custom ones for those who have asked. Call them and get details if you are interested in specifics.
