Nautique and Malibu offer it as an OEM option. Beyond that who knows how many other have approached FAE and how many manufacturers has FAE approached. Manufactures have to weigh a lot of things when looking into an option for a boat. material costs, assembly labor cost, more inventory, projected sales, legal, etc.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I assume (rightly or wrongly) that an FAE won't fix this.[/QUOTE]
When the boat is in gear, it will fix 90% of that. The prop stream pushes the exhaust away from the hull.
Out of gear will be pretty much no change, it will bubble right up.
Also to your point, may manufacturers do build it--Nautique, Axis, Malibu, Supra (I think). Its an option on all of these. They often call it "surf pipe." First one I ever saw in person actually was on a new G23 a couple years ago in the showroom.
The only practical downside is cost. Otherwise, my experience has been all upside.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like bananas!

Ok. I have reached out to FAE to see if we can get together a group buy. Will wait and see what their response is.
Dear sir.
It is that time of year where us boat owners are doing upgrades and prepping for the season. I am a Tige owner who participates big time in the forum and events. Each year you have given a coupon for a FAE to us that attend the Tige reunion at Lake Mead each year. That in itself is really appreciated big time. Thanks for being such a supporter. I know anyone who brings a boat wishes they would be the winner. I do not bring a boat due to distance to travel. I come from Oklahoma close to the Missouri boarder. But attend each year and your gift is well cherished. It is one of the top prizes given out. And it really gets your product showcased to all of us that do not have one and rode on boats that weekend that do.
I am reaching out to you in an effort to organize a group buy for the Tige Owners group. I know there has been a lot of interest in them lately through the discussions on the forum. So what would it take to help us all out with a discount if some of us want to purchase one over the next few weeks? I know you have offered some sweet discounts in the past through the forum and hope you will be grateful enough again this year. Please contact me back at the above email and I will post it in the recent FAE discussion thread. Thank you so much for such a wonderful product for all boats.Wake Up or Stay On Shore!

How many members are on the forum? I just looked and there have been 42 votes (40 replies) and 1100 views to this thread... not many votes vs views.
It's the case about much on internet forums or reviews (travel, business). There is not really any way to get a statistical confidence level. Only the people that are interested will read or reply. Often just the people that are pissed off at a business post feedback.
I only know of 3 Tige owners, none have FAEs. I know of about 10 V-drive owners (surf/wake folks), 1 has an FAE and swears it's the greatest thing ever... that I should get one.
There may be some who know a dozen Tige owners and all have FAEs. Their opinion of the penetration of FAE boats would be much different than mine!

Well obviously we're only going to get a fraction of owners. I would guess fairly intelligent owners since they managed to find this site and probably wish to learn more about their boat and its possibilities. Of that particular cross section, it appears that roughly 6 out 10 of them either own or plan to own an FAE. I'm sure there is a broad section of owners who have never heard of an FAE just because they bought a boat and that was the end of their research. What this pole says to me is that of the people who hear about the FAE, more of them end up with an FAE than don't. One thing it does say is that not one of those people have gotten rid of it once they have it. I haven't read any complaints about its effectiveness or reliability. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

I'm probably gonna get in on the group buy happening in the other thread, so I went over to the fresh air page to check out options.. For my boat I can get the original 3 piece, the one piece T, and the one piece Y... I'm assuming the 1 piece versions would be better since there are no clamps to worry about coming loose, but what about the T vs. Y? It looks like the Y would put the outlet deeper into the water by a little bit. Could this be bad for the wave? Anybody have experience with either of these models that might know of some pros or cons for each version??
