Anyone try this Ronix Eight.3?

Was at grand opening of new Tige dealer (Seca Marine) in Calgary on weekend and see they are selling these for $950 canadian! It is just a piece of triangular fiberglass that sticks to the side of your hull with velcro. Videos and pics from website look like great results. Just wondering if anyone has tried it or something similar. http://www.wakemakers.com/eight3-wakesurf-shaper.html

I am thinking this cannot be hard to make with proper tools out of wood. Finding the velcro will be the tough part.

Mike is right... Literally a $24 dollar piece velcroed to the side of your boat... Google skate ramp wake shapers and there is pretty much somebody from every wake boat forum who has done this..

I had a buddy working on a similar concept for another boat. The Velcro works surprisingly well, but you better have a lanyard or cable just incase (unless your design floats!)
