Might be dumb but what about adding a rev 410 to the center of 4 exile xm9's. With an sd4. Might be getting carried away but curious. Maybe looks alone and mixing brands is enough to not do it and think about adding 2 more xm9's. Thoughts! ?

1st let me ask what are you after with the addition of more speakers?
Now, theres no issue mixing brands in this case, because the Rev-410 is such a different animal from a traditional pro-axial HLCD. Its much the same as having a Rev-410 in the center of Rev-8.
How are the current 8" HLCDs powered and turned? Your current proposal of using an SD-4, would have the four 8" HLCDs driven @ 160W rms to each pod and up to 685 to 410 with its dual 10" mid-bass drivers and super large compression driver. You would want to tune the gains on this system for balance. You would be leaving at least half of that 685W on the table. That 410 pod is going to absolutely dominate the smaller 8" drivers if you tuned the gain to what the pod could handle.
What the Rev-410 will do, is add mid-bass and mid-bass extension as well as add to the peak output.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Ok,
Real world RMS to your 8" pods is currently about 185W rms. So pulling the 2 chnl Harpoon and moving them to the SD-4, would not be an audible difference. As noted earlier, you would have to dial the gain for the Rev-410 WAY back to achieve volume continuity. Part of this is due to the difference in wattage, but a great deal of it is due to the driver size difference. Its taking 2 of your 8" speakers to equal (slightly exceeds though) the output of just one of the 10" drivers in the 410, but they still wont dig as deep.
For $150 more, the SD-6 would be the better amp choice. A little more wattage to each of the 8" pods, about what they are receiving now. A little less wattage for the Rev-410, which you are still going to leave some untapped.
Now, a better setup for the money. Sell the 4 8" pods and 2 chnl amp as a package. Get a Wet Sounds SD-6, pair of Rev-10S and a Rev-410S. plenty of wattage for all the drivers, way easier to balance the volume between the 410 and rev-10a with all putting out a more comparable level of mid-pass.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
