Richard (IDboating)has repaired mine and its on the way back to me! That's the way to go if you just want a to keep the factory cruise. if i get two or three years out of it great! That's totally worth the 100 bucks it cost me. If it fails again (which i don't think it will) i will add the flying leads to it and go with the above mentioned method and use my own buttons.

And maybe by the time it fails again, I'll have had the time to produce a replacement PCB to permanently solve this problem for every Tige that has this touchpad in it. Anyone know how many boats that might be? They've been using them since at least ~2007 or so, across multiple models. It would be nice to know the potential number of replacements that might be needed.
