Helping a friend look at a 04 24V RE, we went a looked at the boat and it seems to be in sound condition minus a few little things. Here are the goods:
Gel Coat is Perfect, Extreme Trailer looks good no rust
Phat Buddy Tower (no previous experience with)
MP 315 HP 900 hours (did the math just over 75 hrs a year)
Basic Stereo (not a clarion, no stern remote) in boards are kicker Type R's no sub. Unknown tower Speaker brand X2
Heater (not sure if it works, or if the core is still good)
Ballast (none to speak of)
New Interior being installed now on pieces that needed replaced (few seats and sun deck)
Had a sandbar prop strike in Havasu a few years ago, new prop, prop shaft, V-drive, (skags/rudder are straight) HULL IS CLEAN
Taps2 is working
Steering Cable is free and correct.
1 owner, all annual maintenance done by current dealer, has a good cover (for what its worth)
Had them run the scan tool, no errors or codes, compression check was solid.
Asking is 28K plus cost of upholstery repairs.
Have Not checked
The prop shaft seal to see if it was replaced after the prop strike
Have not physically seen it run, or lake tested (Pending Upholstery Completion)
Belts, Hoses, Seals, Didn't have a chance to really dig into the guts it was pouring rain.
I know the hours are high, but its an 04 which is a 12 year old boat I would be more concerned if it had less than 400. This will be a first boat (EVER) for my buddy, I know its a lot of boat but my though was he could grow into it. Appreciate anyone's assistant with anything I missed.
