    AVX VS. TAPS 3

    I know its been discussed countless times already but now im trying to decided between which way to go. I will say however ive been on both and I like being able to crossover quick and ride either side in one surf sesh, but love the length of the avx, listing the boat over I know some don't care for but doesn't matter to me im used to it on my rz2, my question is as far as re-sale goes how many people are going to want a switch boat over a avx boat? 3-5 years from now and I guess that's the million dollar question.

    I think it depends on the hull. Resale on a Z3 with an AVX that makes a great wake, is going to be good, especially when the AVX won't be as plentiful, I would think. The funny thing is, i think people that buy new aren't always as picky, because they many times don't know as much, but people buying used usually know.

      I prefer riding the Z3 with Avx over Taps 3. AVX requires less fuel, has a bit sharper wave and imo is a more "surf" wave... can't speak about the RZX...but then again You haven't stated which hull you are buying.

        I would agree with Ragboy's comment about newer boaters are probably less picky. I think new boat buyers are probably going with the latest new thing happening on the market; the "quick switch". For me, I look for the quality in products I purchase in life and I would prefer the AVX for the longer pocket and the ability to fine tune the wave to the skill level of the surfer. Certainly debatable and why Tige offers both systems.
        I guess it all depends what matters most to you; Quick switch or a better adjustable surf wake.

          I agree with u there and yeah I'm leaning towards a z3 over the rzx at this point but I'm waiting for my dealer to get an rzx and then I will go from there

            The RZX defiantly has a better wave, I have surfed both boats. But the Z3 seems to be the more popular boat here in Minnesota. As far as the surf system goes we sell more Taps 3 then AVX but hands down the AVX produces a higher quality wave.
