When this legislation was announced my thought was here we go. It's going to happen at LOZ and other lakes will follow.

Glad to here that it died in session. We are very courteous and respectful to other boats around us as well as where our wakes are headed and do it in a responsible way.

As a youngster learning to drive on a small and over crowded lake we were taught that at an early age. I teach it to anyone who drives my boat and try to educate others.

Was surfing at the end of our cove on the Gravois Arm Sunday evening and water patrol raced up to our area and sat and monitored the surf set. When the wife fell I headed back to retrieve her and expected to be stopped/boarded. WP just sat there and watched 3 more sets and then hightailed it out of there. We are always responsible/respectful when we surf but I still expected that WP would have a convo with us since he sat and watched us so long. Guess we were following all the rules to his satisfaction. Not quite sure what to make of it but am hopeful this means WP will be supportive of surfing as long as it's done respectfully.
