Just missed that dock, and landed on sand.

I'd say they were lucky (realativly).

At least we know it wasn't Ruune...His tige is red!

Are you sure about that? I could be that the boat was beached normally and the water was higher in the lake. Over the next week the water may have dropped and that is the result. I speak from experience, although not quite as severe, when on a Texas lake. I beached the boat for the night, it was still floating. The next morning the lake had dropped two feet and I could not move the boat. I had to get 5 other people to help lift and push to get the boat floating again.

The reason I ask is that the trail behind the boat looks like water drainage, not boat scrape marks. And for the boat to get the far out of the water would have taken considerable speed. Sand on a large surface hull tends to stop a boat in short order. Just ask my friends that struck a sand bar.

You're right Ray, that could be the case.

It looks like an odd place to beach though, behind a walk up ramp. Maybe thats the angle of the photo.

They also landed on the cables and water hose going to that dock.

You don't see skeg marks in the sand, you'd think there would be deep ones.

I'd say your right, however... look at the trench that was dug by the prop. The story I heard about this is that it had to do with alcohol and nighttime.

Looks like a classic booze cruise or maybe broken steering, lost at highspeed-OR my wife was driving. Sad none-the-less...

He must have been flying to get that far up on the beach, if he was driving!!!!

It hurts looking at any boat like that...well, except for maybe one 'Bu with an action hero logo on the side

The action Figure BU or beached boats

There are quite a few boats that park on the sand on the river north of Havasu south of the I-40 bridge. There is a beach on the left as you are heading north. 2 weeks ago there was a Super Air parked on the upslope. Did not have a camera on the Seadoo. Not sure as how he ended up there.

Yes I am and proud of it. Before the boats we had 4 Seadoo's. Down to one Seadoo now.

On windy days when I don't take out the boat it is nice to launch and do speed runs up river for a good meal at Topock or cross the lake to the Casino. Easier to park when all the slips are full. Also a very good workout.

Also when we have the family get togethers and cannot fit everyone in the boat the Seadoo comes in handy.

Taught my kids when they were little how to Ski and wakeboard behind them. Memories - Priceless
