I am looking to upgrade from I/o to vdrive. All we do is wakeboard and would like to get into surfing. The question I have is I saw a tige 03 24v riders edition with what looks similar to the diamond hull that Malibu has in that the edges swoop down. Is this the same as the diamond hull from Malibu that is better for skiing?

IIRC Tige introduced the convex wake board hull on their v-drives on 02. I also Dont think diamond was a term Bu used until later when they actually made a wake board hull that was different from the ski hull.
