Overly Cautious, the water level has changed drastically over the last 4 years we have been going so its always a little slow the first trip out just to check everything out. The ONLY difficult piece of the whole trip for us is launching, its shallow and a long (dirt) ramp, last year my truck bed was in the water before the boat barely started to float and I still had to power off the trailer. Once your off the trailer and away from the dock its 15 feet in the harbor and drastically drops off to over 100ft+ in the bay and stays that way pretty much everywhere as long as your in the middle. There are no sandbars or anything out in the lake but the coves can be deceiving, they look deep till you get in there then realize that some are only 2-3 feet deep. There is so much surface area of water out there that whether you go north or south you may only see one or two other boats and they are will most likely be apart of our group.

It is a treacherous lake in parts. Fortunately it is very deep in the main channel and quite clear. So I worry about hitting something at night, but I think if you are paying attention in the day, you have no need to fear.

I've not seen more buttery smooth water than at Lake Mead in September.
        Be excellent to one another.

I was thinking this same thing? This will be my first time at Lake Mead and I am not sure if I should be overly worried about the water level. I did pick up a marine radio to stay in touch with everyone though.

Lastly Brad/Dave: I wanted to update my headcount because I had one person back out. It will just be three (3) of us in my group and the one (1) boat. My brother and I will arrive Friday morning and my third guy will arrive Friday later afternoon. No changes to T-shirt or Coozie requests though.

I should have my new bimini and tower lights installed by then!

so I am flying out saturday morning and coming back friday morning. couldn't change the flight as too much money. so is what it is.

if anyone is going to be out wed or thurs and has room for a guy that knows how to drive, has some gas money and can wipe a boat down, would love to get a pull and if you can teach me the elusive 360, even better... won't have a board or a jacket tho kinda hoping to plan so I know whether to bring a suit or not.

if you have room, pm me and i'll send ya my number..

Elevated, Glad you have plenty of ROOOOOOOOM. And I love a slammed boat. I am one of the boat hoppers meaning I float around and visit each boat and friends. I have my girlfriend with me this year and would love to jump in your boat and meet your crew.

Really looking to get a little time behind a Z3 to see if it will be my next upgrade.

I will be there in the late morning on Friday. I am happy to drive and will bring a pocket full of 20's. I would love to see how the Z3 rocks!

                          UPDATE!
Sponsors - A LONG list of companies listed by theGerman618 earlier in the thread, and were still waiting on a few additional last minute confirmations. All Tige owners in attendance will walk away with SOMETHING.
Dinner - Deposit has been made and we are confirmed with "No Sauce Needed" BBQ. As mentioned previously, the cost will be $15 per person. We will collect the money before serving everyone.
Raffle Plans - It's going to be AWESOME this year! An initial round of prizes for all Tige Owners in attendance (yes, you have to be present to win), and a Grand Prize round for those that brought their Tige boats.
Tige Involvement - Ben Pigeon and his wife will be joining us on Saturday. Who's Ben Pigeon? Read here; http://tige.com/blog/the-man-behind-...geon-biography Tige has also stepped up in a HUGE way for this years event... but that's a surprise that will have to wait until later.
Tige Boat Dealer Involvement - We know Germaine Marine has stepped up again this year to participate, and we know Adam is bringing a 2017 Z3. Rumor has it Germaine Marine may be bringing one other boat as well.
Shirts - The vendor is waiting on us, and we are waiting on the last minute sponsors. As mentioned previously, the shirts will likely run in the $15 range. We have everyone's orders.
Lastly - Volunteers! - We will need some help setting up chairs/tables/etc. for the dinner and raffle. If someone wants to bring some drop lights, that would help as well. We will need 3-5 volunteers to serve the food. This will mean you need to be off the water around 3:30pm on Saturday and ready to pitch in around 4:30pm.

theGerman618 (Brad & Jenn) and my group will be arriving Wednesday. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns between now and then, you can reach me on my cell at Nine 5 One, Seven 75, Three 8 One 6.

                          Sincerely, Dave

Im sure we can figure something out. My only prerequisite is that whoever gets on board my boat is signed up to help brad and dave with something for the event, I know how undermanned they are at the moment for some volunteer work so its my way (I will also volunteer) to help the cause .

I have already volunteered and always help out. Especialy when it comes to wiping down the boats after pulling them out. Especialy to the ones I ride in and the ones the Dealer brings as a demo. talltigeguy has 20's and so do I. But I'll bring beer. What do you drink? Lol.

We have one room that may be available Saturday night only. The party has not cancelled their reservation in this room yet so we can time it right and get another Tige owner in the room. It's a "Single" room, meaning it has one double bed and a sleeper sofa, a small refrigerator with freezer, satellite TV, AC, restroom, etc. If you are interested, please let me know via private message AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
