Quick question: I have never used my boat outside of my state. Is there anything special I need to do to be legal at mead?

Seems like a responsible boater right there! lol. Good $hit bro. 5-0 isn't too strict out there.. You can play the "I didn't know card" and be okay. Probably won't even have the gate manned where you have to pay at because it is after Labor Day.
Thanks for the Intel boonecragun. I always forget about those damn things.

If you want to be 100% legal..
You will need the Lake Mead/Lake Mohave Pass (Its PURPLE this year) believe it was $50.00 for the annual but I know they do weekend/day passes.
You will also need the AIS sticker (Aquatic Invasive Species Sticker its usually $25 or so.
That's it as far as "BEING LEGAL" now we have been going there for years and I have only seen the cops out there once and that was because we called them LOL. (Just saying)My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

A word of caution to everybody but not trying to scare anyone at all. I drop in at Callville Bay usually, which is a ways from Temple Bar, and there have been people there looking for the AIS sticker and remind you to drain and dry your boat.
We did have Rangers pulling over everybody coming in to the no wake zone checking to see if you have all the safety gear like extinguisher, throwable, ect. Of course they asked if we had been drinking but it was too hot that day to drink. Anyways just wanted to put that out there. I can't speak on Temple Bar because I have never been there. Just wanted to put what I have seen.

Aside from large holiday weekends, I don't recall every being stopped.....well except that ONE time! HA! Temple bar after Labor Day is a ghost town for sure but you never know when they will swing by, especially once they get word that 100 people and 20 boats showed up and drank the bar out of booze on night one!

I was really surprised to see them waiting at the no wake entrance. That's the first time in 3 yrs that we have seen that so very uncommon.
