Man I am lucky!

I had to report for Jury Duty today and the trial that I was interviewing for was going to be during the Friday and Monday of the reunion. Luckily the judge said that since I had already paid for a hotel room that this was a "hardship" for me and she sent me back to the Jury pool to be assigned to another case. When I reported back to where they herd us in like cattle there were not trials left coming up today and I was DISMISSED!!! Yes, next stop Lake Mead!!!

While continuing to work on sponsors for the event, I quickly realize why so many people on this forum speak so highly of some of the companies I have contacted (or spoken to might be a better term, because we have contacted ALOT). I also realize how important word of mouth is to many of the smaller companies. Companies like Mikes Liquid Audio, AO Coolers, EXILE Wakesurf, DoomSwell Wakesurf, Fresh Air Exhaust, Theisen Industries, kKrows Inc, and many others consistently provide great outstanding service, even when they are being asked to donate. There are even a handful of companies willing to call me back and politely explain that they will not be sponsoring us this year. It makes this task so much easier. But for every one of those companies - there's always one that treats you like trash and laughs at you for even asking... Yes, "Stretch Boards", were talking about you! Trust us - we will not be reaching out to you again - FOR ANYTHING!
