    WWS Tige Z3 Build!

It is that time of year again- BOAT SHOW PREP!

Every year I try and come up with something new and fresh for our upcoming boat show in January. This year, along with putting 12 Tiges in our show I am going big with a 2016 Z3. We are putting 4 Z3's in our show this year and this particular one is going to be bananas.

We wrap a lot of boats here in Denver as my best friend from college owns his own graphics company (and does the best work out of anyone else in Colorado)-Alpine Auto Graphics. Alpine normally does about 5 or 6 wraps a year for WWS and the customers love them. Well this year Alpine has out done themselves again and hit yet another Home Run. http://alpinegraphicsdenver.com/

I want to share with you all the build process of this Z3 as I am the most excited about this boat as I have ever been (and that includes my own boat a few years ago!)

We just started the build on Tuesday (11/3/15) of this week so it is still a work in progress.

Recap of what WWS and Alpine Auto Graphics has in store for this boat.

REV 410 install on Alpha Z Tower.

        Custom aluminum bracket.
THREE 1/2 Grade 8 bolts into the tower- should hold up like a dream. 12202178_10154073397281754_1971171585_n.jpg12200688_10154073397191754_1021383755_n.jpg12204869_10154073397146754_629510008_n.jpg12207798_10154073397031754_1615209795_n.jpg12208047_10154073397241754_240977363_n.jpg

I guess that is why it looks every bit as good as fresh gelcoat! HAHA.

It looks like you put the bolts to hold the bracket to the tower in the stock locations. Are those usually 1/2 inch bolts, or did you machine the stock locations bigger?

I believe they are 5/16 inch bolts pre tapped in the tower. We drilled out the two 5/16 holes into 1/2 inch and added a third. So three 1/2 bolts, lock washers and a lot of lock tight- should hold those bad boys!!

Pictures of the wrap. Really need to see it in person to get the full effect. The windows are getting tinted as I type this and then I will get it in the sun and post some more!

We are also starting to run wire for the stereo and cutting out the 808 holes today! Moving right along!

The wrap looks really cool, but all I can think of is scratches and water spots. How hard is it to keep something like that looking good?
