Possibly transferring South away from the snow. Looks like I'll be somewhere between Atlanta and Columbus. Just looking at the map I see West Point Lake and Lake Harding............Any advice is appreciated.

Theres a few good lakes. We go to lake blackshear in cordele Ga. There is also lake sinclair we go to a bit in Milledgeville. Lake Oconee in Eatonton.. also lake tobosofkee in macon..which I don't care for..it's a really small lake and the DNR is bad there. -
WY? My family lives there, not sure why. Lol! We live on Lanier and it can be crazy busy compared to any lake in WY! If you are looking for social activities Lanier is the place to be with Lanier islands, all of the restaurants, boating/fishing clubs you can join, etc. seems like fishing tournaments every other weekend. But we love it here! We have met soooooo many awesome folks over the past few years. You start to learn when to go out and when not to go out! Since this is a Tigé thread I should mention Pull Watersports is the place to be! We bought out RZR there in December and these are the best people to know in the southeast! They have their weekly "Thursday Night Surf Night" where you will meet thee best peeps around! If you end up further north Lake Hartwell seems like the place to be! Huge lake very spread out and every time I drive over it (2-3 times a week for a year) it looked like you would have the lake to your self! Plenty of nice coves to find some glass.
