2008 Tige Depth Gauge

Two questions:

1. Where is my depth gauge located?

2. What would cause the depth gauge to malfunction? It periodically works?

Your 08 has a thru-hull tri-ducer that does speed, depth and water temp. Is located in the bilge, starboard side, just below the engine oil filter. Cause if inaccurate display can be marine growth on the sensor, bad sensor, corrosion on the connection, damaged harness or bad gauge.
