How to run speaker wires in tower

I did not think an 2002 boat would have the "E" tower.

Not sure the whole story. I bought it from a guy I work with and he was the 2nd owner I believe. He seems to think it didn't have a tower originally

Hey guys finally got around to running the wires this last weekend (boys baseball is killing me). Want to say thanks to chptril and all the other guys on here who help out guys like me. Here is what was under my tower...maybe it will help someone later.

I am also in the process of installing tower speakers, my canopy only allows 2 speakers to be installed on the higher, rear "hoop", so I was planning to install the other 2 on the lower, forward "hoop". Before I went drill to the holes I got to thinking that the forward hoop may be just welded directly to the main part of the tower with out a cut out for wires to be ran through. Not sure i explained that real well, but can anyone help me out, I attached a picture with an arrow pointed at the spot I am talking about.

The foreword hoop of the E tower is open to the side pipe, so wire can be fished there.

However, I would strongly suggest you come up with a work around to mount all 4 pods on the same plane.

Certainly not questioning you, but curious as to why?

Just make sure that the bolt holding the rear tower section is covered in anti-sieze (nickel paste) before you screw it back down. This is to prevent galling of the bolt and nut plate. I say this from experience getting my bolt out.
There was no anti-sieze paste and it stuck so tight I had to drill the bolt out.
