I had the NautiLaugic system on my 07 22Ve and recently transferred it to my 14 ASR. I can't recommend this system enough - both boats had problems with surging and the NautiLaugic fixed them both. It's definitely worth the money.

It is good to get some owner feedback on how well the boat holds speed when hand driven. Since I am accustomed to doing this on other boats, I am now more confident I will be able to hand drive the Tige as well. We have not been able to test drive it yet due to logistics, but hope to in the next few days. The boat has low hours and is priced well. Biggest concern is the Speed Set.

I know the paddlewheel is broken on the boat we are looking at and I know it is expensive. Has anyone tried the Nautic Laugic GPS sender to replace just the paddlewheel portion of the 06 Speed Set system?
I looked into it, and if I recall it WAS NOT going to work with my 2006. Possibly double check that, but I recall being bummed to learn that. I contacted the company directly.

We have a 2006 22v with speed set but we never use it! We surf exclusively and find it very easy to control speed!

Thanks again to all who responded with information on the 06 22ve. A 2007 22ve just turned up closer to home. Clean boat with about same hours as the 06 I was looking at. Speed control is working and is less of an issue than the 06 speed control. So.... we bought the 07.
Need to upgrade ballast, and we'll be ready to surf!

Looks like it has some kind of ballast plumbed in

You have those sweet hard tanks in the lockers that my 2006 had? They come out, but its a puzzle. The mid compartment ones were sawzall material.

Just wanted to update the thread. The red white 07 22Ve boat is located @ Race City Marine on Lake Norman in the Charlotte NC area. To my knowledge, it is still for sale if anyone is surfing the site looking. It may also now have a trailer to go with it.
