FWIW, we started with an angle like that on our 24Ve, but a seasoned pro surfer then suggested we add ballast to the aft offside. The result was a much longer, stronger wave that was just as tall. Now, optically, our onside looks like yours but our offside usually has the swim platform a couple of inches below the surface. I bring this up because it also lessens the angle, which makes folks in the boat more comfortable.

More comfort, and a better wave - what's not to like? Give it a try and report back!

I have some Starboard laying around. I may have to give a DIY solution a try. I'll be sure to tie a leash or something to it.

I will give this a whirl. If I recall, you also have the full swim platform like I do on your machine, yes?

Any idea what you might be adding ballpark for offside weight?

Yep. Looks just like yours. In fact, the entire stern end looks like your boat's.

I'd estimate 15-20% of full. Have to calculate the gallonage, but remember we have absolutely enormous custom fat sacs so the amounts are pretty serious! I think what matters more, though, is the relative balance between the two sides. Our fill/drain pumps are much faster than our crosspumps, so when we're ballasting up and crosspumping for speed the onside sac ends up with some residual, which is where my estimate of 15-20% comes from. It just happens that the amounts work out nicely.

I mentioned this in another thread and I believe you saw that and tried it, but: We've recently upped our bow weight significantly too. Makes a nice improvement on the normal (port) side, and an unbelievable difference on the goofy (starboard) side. Previously, to get a good goofy wave, we had to remove virtually all offside ballast and go faster than newbies wanted; our list looked like yours and put the driver "down in the hole" so seeing was difficult too. Everyone was uncomfortable, and the wave wasn't nearly as awesome as the port side. But add more bow weight and POW. If anything, the goofy side might actually be cleaner than the normal side now. I haven't re-sac'd the bow permanently yet, so at the moment we get there with an extra 400 pound sac in the walkway. Truly amazing.
