    Wakeskating? Bi Level Board?

Never tried wakeskating before and was about to order a Ronix board then realized it's a Bi Level board what I would have never guessed was a real thing. Anyone own one or ridding one before? Sounds real heavy 14 lbs from what I see on a YouTube video. Should I go with a normal board or is this the one to have?
    Thanks for the info.

I think bi-levels are great. I wake skated a ton before getting my Tige when we only had jet skis. My first board was a very light Liberation composite board. When I started getting better and trying wake to wake stuff and shuvs, I had issues with the board being too light and getting caught up with wind/speed of riding. The wood board, weather bi level or not, we're much better. A lot softer feeling (especially the bi level) and heavier for better control. Personally, I would not be scared of the bi level.

      It's a matter of preference.

I have had bi-level skates and enjoyed them but I do prefer my current skate which is a simple single level wood around 8-9 lbs. (Oak Dirt Worshipper)

mdk681 nails it above that heavier = better control with shuvs & wake tricks.
