    Bimini Hardware

Looking to replace a ball and socket hinge for our bimini. We ordered a Taco part # F13-0242, but it is the wrong design. The hinge we ordered is concave, but the curve is the wrong direction. The hing we ordered has the curve forming between the width (see attached photo 1). We need a concave hinge where the curve forms between the length (see attached photo 2). We have searched everywhere and can't find a replacement. Does anyone have any recommendations?

If you find any of these parts I will buy some as well. Just in case.

I would love 2 of them if possible. The screws backed out of the tower on one of them and it fell off while towing.

I have some. If you take yours off and look at the bottom, I think you will see that it was home made.

That is what we bought. It doesn't have the curve going the right way so it doesn't sit flush on the tower.

If you take the one off the Tower that you have now, I believe you will see where someone ground it out to make it concave the in the direction you want.

Yeah I am going to leave that one on since I don't want the screws to strip the holes like the other side. I will do what you recommend with the new one I bought and see if I can get it to fit. I'll report back with results later.

                    Thanks!
