    Snap on cover for 20v

I'm considering getting a custom snap on cover for my boat. One that covers the cockpit as well as the open bow. Anyone have any experience with them? I'm a little afraid of having all those snaps installed. I love the look of my boat and wouldn't want the snaps to ruin it's nice lines. Any suggestions?

I've had boats with snap covers, my 22ve has the type that extends below the rub rail and has a strap to pinch/pull it tight. I would much rather have the strap version vs. snaps...

Man I'm gonna agree with Eric here... Rope/cinch type all the way. I wouldn't even consider screwing all those snaps into my boat..

Ours came with the snap cover and it looks great and is nice for towing.

The biggest downside is it doesn't protect the uncovered areas from sun exposure if stored outside. You can definitely tell a difference in the color from the non covered areas and I wish I had a full cover. I am planning on getting a second cover soon to protect the rest of the boat.

I actually have both - I use the snap cover for towing down to Lake Powell - then I have it available if a rain storm is going to move in - or if it's early or late season and I want to close off the bow. Othertimes I have a full strap down cover that protects the top, upper sides, etc from the harsh sun here in Utah

IMO, snap covers are a PITA to get on if the tarp shrinks any at all. I'd much rather have a strap on version.
